Business Systems Haven’t Kept Pace with Business Needs

In an Aberdeen Group study, nearly half of retailers said their business systems are inadequate to support the new ways they do business.

New audit best practices are emerging involving recover-based incentives, the use of external audit services and the implementation of shared services. Many are adopting new operating models, controls and technologies and are expanding into a host of new audit arenas.
