Steve Yurko has served as CEO of apexanalytix since 2009. Since then, he has helped a dedicated team of associates add a record number of new Global 2000 audit and technology clients, expand global capabilities and markets served, launch revolutionary new software solutions and produce more audit recoveries for clients than in any period in company history.
Before becoming CEO, Steve worked closely with apexanalytix clients around the globe as senior vice president of sales and marketing. In that role, he led worldwide sales, product management and branding strategies and drove growth in key commercial, retail, international and technology business segments.
Steve’s strong background in the consulting services and technology solutions arena includes a previous position as vice president of sales with an Atlanta-based management consulting and software solutions firm. He also led a joint venture with IBM to sell and implement analytic applications designed to drive measurable business improvements for the world’s largest companies.
Steve also worked with ERP provider J.D. Edwards where he held a variety of direct, channel and sales management roles and was recognized as a worldwide sales leader. He started his career with Deloitte & Touche’s management consulting group.
Steve is a 1988 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and has earned his CPA.
Akhilesh Agarwal leads the apexanalytix solutions practice responsible for apexportal, the industry’s only 100 percent touchless solution for global supplier information management and working capital optimization. He leads the development of new client-focused software innovations, guided by the regular trend analyses he conducts to ensure that apexportal delivers real-world efficiency and productivity benefits. He also oversees pre-sales, product management, project planning and reviews, risk mitigation and the delivery of seamless solutions to large global clients across country borders.
Akhilesh has extensive background in product design and execution in accounts payable, accounts receivable and related areas. Before joining apexanalytix, he was vice president of technology for iQor, a provider of intelligent customer interaction solutions, where he earned a reputation there for consistently delivering on high-visibility, high-performance projects. He also is a former associate director of software development for Receivable Management Services and a former project manager for Aditya International.
As Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, Global Transaction Compliance Solutions, Phil Beane leads our commercial and retail audit teams and international operations. His focus on customer satisfaction and value creation has helped to fuel a period of double-digit growth.
Phil previously was responsible for leading the apexanalytix audit and software implementation support teams in the Americas. Prior to joining the company, he worked with GMAC Insurance, Questcon Technologies and BCE Emergis, where he specialized in quality assurance consulting and management.
Phil graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in information systems. He also served in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division as a communications specialist.
As COO & EVP, apex EMEA & Strategic Partnerships, Derek Binnicker has led our company to unprecedented global growth in both software and services engagements with Global 1000 businesses.
Prior to joining apexanalytix, Derek gained significant experience in the technology and consulting arena. He is a former sales executive with CD Group, where he sold business intelligence applications, enterprise resource planning solutions and management consulting offerings. He also is a former consulting practice manager for Sirius/Point5, where he was responsible for establishing and growing a new technology consulting market. He also supported the company’s direct and channel sales force.
Derek has worked in technology and consulting with the U.S. Office of Small Business Development Centers and with the International Bank of Commerce. He also is a veteran of the U.S. Army.
As the Chief Information Officer, Vishal Grover is responsible for establishing and maintaining a company-wide information security and risk management program to ensure that the data assets of apexanalytix and our clients are protected.
Vishal has over 20 years of experience in information technology and has had numerous roles across multiple disciplines such as application development, database management, IT infrastructure and information security. His extensive background includes implementing programs for evolving security and compliance requirements (SSAE18, PCI, secure SDLC, GDPR, disaster recovery) to ensure the highest level of security, performance and availability for the largest companies in the world.
Vishal graduated from Delhi University with a degree in Commerce. He also holds an advanced IT diploma from NIIT along with SUN Certification.
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Jessica Kozak leads our global human resources function at apexanalytix. Her focus includes organization development, integrated talent management, leadership development, and culture.
Jessica is a connective and collaborative leader with human capital strategy and transformation experience. She has been consistently recognized for leading diverse teams, improving performance, and cultivating productivity in highly competitive industries.
Prior to joining apexanalytix, Jessica held senior HR leadership roles in the technology and consulting arena with Booz Allen Hamilton, H-E-B Digital, Rackspace Technology, and Reynolds American.
Jessica holds professional certifications in digital transformation strategy and is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner. She has a MS in Human Resources from Central Michigan University.
As Chief Product Officer at apexanalytix, Danny Thompson is responsible for defining, communicating and leading our company’s software product strategy and roadmap. He works closely with our customers to ensure that each solution helps them meet their business objectives.
Danny has a proven track record in the procure-to-pay arena, with a strong background in ERP implementation, process automation and financial shared services. He previously was vice president of product management at Tungsten Network, a global business-to-business e-invoicing firm. He also is a former global process driver for invoice-to-pay at Pfizer.
Danny earned a B.A. degree from Harding University.
Chris Haydon is an innovative operational leader and business strategist with over 20 years of experience in driving revenue and customer adoption through the creation of high-value products, services, and global teams. With a broad background in cloud and enterprise solutions markets, Chris has an exceptional track record in defining strategy and building organizations that excel in execution and customer engagement.
Throughout his career, Chris has demonstrated extensive expertise in procurement, business networks, supply chain, ERP, and cloud subscription and renewal businesses. His previous roles include serving as the President at SAP Procurement Solutions, where he spearheaded initiatives to enhance procurement processes and drive efficiency for businesses. Prior to that, he held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at SAP Ariba, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of one of the leading procurement solutions providers globally.
In addition to his corporate leadership roles, Chris has also made significant contributions as an independent industry consultant, private equity advisor, and board member. His insights and strategic guidance have been sought after by prominent organizations, including KKR, where he provided valuable expertise in driving operational excellence and maximizing returns.
Chris Haydon’s blend of strategic vision, operational expertise, and deep industry knowledge has consistently positioned him as a trusted advisor and leader in the field.
Charles is an experienced and well-regarded senior executive. He co-founded Rosslyn Data Technologies Plc and Darkbeam whilst also serving as an advisor for a number of other successful technology and investment companies.
Charles’ particular interest is helping young companies achieve their dreams. With an MBA from City University Business School, Charles focuses his skills on raising capital, building sales distribution channels and marketing.
Prior to this he was an Executive Director of the asset management division of Panmure Gordon, managing £1.3 billion globally, where he had a particular interest and focus on technology.
Charles’ passion for intelligence insights stems from his time serving with the British Army where he served on active service in theatres of operation. Today, Charles is proud to be a mentor for ex-servicemen and actively supports charity work. When he’s not busy trying to change the world, Charles loves his golf!
Alan is passionate about innovation and has a proven track record of identifying new opportunities and leveraging technology to bring innovative products and services to the market. Alan was the founder of Idera Software in 2000 and developed its flagship products. Idera was later acquired by TA Associates in 2014.
Before joining apexanalytix, Alan held senior leadership roles in technology and energy companies focusing on commodities, logistics, renewables, and ESG.
Alan holds professional CISSP certifications in Cybersecurity. He has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
Outside of work, Alan likes to participate in technology challenges and competitions. He was awarded as one of the top finalists of the Google Android Challenges in 2008 and 2010 and has worked with Google on its Android operating system and Google App store.
As Senior Vice President of Marketing, Stephanie leads our global marketing team at apexanalytix.
Stephanie brings over 20 years marketing experience. She is a process and revenue marketer with deep experience in tech B2B marketing. She has held leadership positions at high growth tech companies such as TealBook, Dwolla, and Workiva, where she led the strategic Initiative to rename the company from WebFilings. Additionally, Stephanie serves as a Board Director and Treasurer at a $7B financial institution that has pioneered FinTech and FI relations.
Stephanie holds a Masters in Public Administration with an emphasis on Executive Leadership from Drake University, and a Bachelors of Arts in Marketing from Simpson College.
As Senior Vice President of Consulting, Jason leads our Presales, Support, and Portal Consulting teams. He is responsible for accelerating time to value for all apexanalytix customers while scaling and growing the portfolio of services that we offer.
Jason has made a career of making customers successful through outcome-focused services, transforming and building large services organizations, and developing high-performing teams.
Prior to joining the company, he spent more than 16 years at SAP via their 2012 acquisition of Ariba. There, as Global Vice President of Cloud Procurement Services, he was instrumental in the transformation of their 2,000-person services organization and led the integration of Ariba services into SAP in 2020.
Jason graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Information Systems.
As Vice President of International Operations, Geoff May leads apexanalytix’s commercial and automotive audit services for the most complex supply chains located in EMEA and APAC. His global team is responsible for identifying and recovering overpayments for clients and providing the insight to prevent future overpayments.
In 2014, Geoff joined apexanalytix as the Director of Audit Operations overseeing global recovery audit services across a wide spectrum of industries (pharmaceutical, consumer goods, media, energy, mining and insurance). Prior to joining apexanalytix, Geoff operated as an Audit Principal within the UK grocery and retail sectors overseeing audit strategy, development, delivery and client process enhancement. He has over 25 years of experience within recovery audit and data services management.
Geoff holds the IOFM APM Certification, a Professional Certificate in Management from The Open University and is a former PRINCE2 Practitioner.
