APEX Analytix is bringing together Global Leaders of Financial Shared Services, Accounts Payable and Procurement from all over the world for a truly meaningful educational opportunity this spring. This Elite conference is a unique event that is led by innovators from the world’s largest accounts payable and financial shared services practices. In 2019, Elite Americas will take place in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida, from March 17th-19th. Here are the top four reason you should consider attending this event.

1)     Best Practices

We know that finding a worthwhile educational experience in the accounts payable and procure-to-pay fields can be difficult to come by. That is why we have designed the Elite Experience to be for you, by you. Each session is led by innovators from the world’s largest accounts payable, procurement and financial shared services practices as well as APEX Analytix experts. Speakers represented at Elite come Global 2000 companies such as Adidas, Delta, KPMG, Verizon and more. 98% of past attendees rate our content “Excellent” or “Very Good.”

2)     Quality Networking

Every attendee at Elite gets vetted by the APEX Analytix team to ensure that the networking opportunities are of the highest quality. Over 91% of Elite attendees are managers, directors or controllers of accounts payable, shared service or purchasing functions with the majority in account payable or procurement/source-to-pay management roles. We typically have around 100 companies attending the event which is the perfect size for ensuring session interaction and quality networking. Additionally, we do not allow vendors to attend the conference.

3)     Inspiring Location

Located just a short 30-minute drive from the Tampa Bay International Airport, St. Petersburg boasts the number 7 ranked beach in the US according to Trip Advisors. St. Pete Beach has gorgeous views, the longest undeveloped stretch of public beach in the country, and a variety of shops, restaurants and galleries.

Elite Attendees will be staying at the award winning Vinoy Renaissance. This beautiful hotel offers a “seamless combination of historic charm and modern convenience” and is surrounded by many attractions and the city’s lively downtown. The resort has a championship golf course (more on this later) on-site spa and a private marina. Elite takes place on March 17th-19th and its worth noting that the average temperature in the St. Petersburg in March is 76°F.

4)     Fun Activities

As with all Elite conferences, we have a variety of fun networking events to choose from to welcome you to St. Petersburg on Sunday, March 17th.

  • Golf: Designed by famed architect Ron Garl, Vinoy Golf Club offers challenging course play for golfers of all levels. The club includes a pro shop, as well as professionals dedicated to helping you improve your game while you're in St. Petersburg.
  • Art Tours: A docent-led tour of the St. Petersburg Museum Fine Arts will be where the Elite attendees begin their art tour. After the tour concludes, guests will enjoy appetizers and a beverage. Next, guests will make the short walk to the world-renowned Dali Museum for a private docent led tour.
  • Catamaran: Board a privately chartered 52’ catamaran steps from the Vinoy’s front door for an afternoon of fun in the sun. Attendees and their guests will enjoy sailing the crystal blue waters of the gulf, dolphin sightings, tropical birds and white sand. The catamaran has nets for lounging, spacious sun decks, a covered bar and seating area. Floating mats, snorkels, kayaks and paddle-boards are provided for water fun.
  • Beach Day: Enjoy the soft, tropical sounds of steel drums and relax in cabanas and hammocks by the Gulf of Mexico. Lunch and fresh cocktails will be served in a private green space.

On Monday, Elite attendees will board a sleek $12 million, 180-foot yacht for an evening of dinner, dancing and entertainment. Boarding from the Vinoy Marina, the yacht will take attendees on a scenic tour by the water of the St. Pete skyline and Tampa Bay.

Bonus for Baseball Fans

Many professional baseball teams play their spring training games in Florida and the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area is just a short drive away from several facilities. Elite takes place right in the middle of Spring Training and if you are an avid baseball fan you can consider seeing a game or two while you are in town.
