Helen brings a background in marketing, strategic alliances and business development in high technology to her role at APEX Analytix. She is responsible for bridging the sales and marketing disciplines and developing strategies relative to product branding and positioning. She oversees public relations, advertising, events and lead generation activities at APEX Analytix. In addition, Helen evaluates new channel, partner and market opportunities with the goal of rapidly expanding APEX Analytix’ presence in target markets.
Prior to joining APEX, Helen held senior marketing and business development positions for a several high-technology companies in Colorado. She was Vice President of Marketing for Solant, a developer of Internet bill presentment and payment software, which was subsequently acquired by Avolent, a larger competitor. She also held positions of increasing responsibility during a 12-year career at J.D. Edwards & Company (now a division of Oracle Corporation) where she served as Director of Corporate Communications, Director of Strategic Alliances and Manager of Marketing Communications. Helen also held marketing communications positions at McData Corporation in Broomfield, CO and Data General Corporation’s Industry Marketing Division in Englewood, CO.
Most recently, Helen held business development and marketing roles in the public sector as Chief Marketing Officer of the Colorado Office of Innovation and Technology and Senior Communications Advisor to the Colorado Office of the Secretary of Technology. She has been a consultant on marketing strategy to several venture-backed technology companies in Colorado.
A member of the Business Marketing Association, Helen holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and Mass Communications.
