Chris Doxey, Vice President, Account Management
Chris joins APEX Analytix from one of the company’s most successful clients, MCI. Chris has held numerous senior management positions in finance for high technology companies over the course of her career. In her role at APEX Analytix, she is ultimately responsible for client satisfaction, managing a team of client relations officers who provide project management and ongoing value-added account management to APEX Analytix’ Fortune 500 clients. Chris is also responsible for the Client Analytics function at the company, which produces value-added deliverables to APEX Analytix clients, such as management reports, at-risk vendor identification, and strategic sourcing recommendations.
Previous to APEX Analytix, as director of Internal Controls for MCI, Chris led the SOX 404 effort including process, tools, and solutions. Before MCI, Chris was the PMO Director at Compaq for the Americas Controllership and SOX 404 Project. Before the Compaq merger with Hewlett-Packard, Chris held various roles at Compaq including Director of Worldwide Accounts Payable, manager of the program office for the Corporate Controllership, project manager of Financial Architecture, and manager of programs to optimize distribution and implement SAP.
Previous to Compaq, Chris held several financial management positions at Digital Equipment corporation, most recently as Controller of the Personal Computer Business Unit. At Digital, Chris graduated from Digital’s Financial Development program.
Chris holds a BA in English, a BS in Accounting, an MBA, and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management.
She is the recipient of numerous awards including recognition of outstanding achievement by Compaq/HP, and certificates of Merit from the American Payroll Association (APA). Chris an active member of the International Accounts Payable Professionals (IAPP), a Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP), a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and a Certified Controls Self-Assessment Candidate (CCSA). Chris has also published numerous articles, conducted frequent webcasts, and is a regular speaker at industry events., particularly on her work in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and sustainability.
